OM601 (w201) small ATF leak
Did a tranny fluid (incld. torque converter) and filter change this weekend. Replaced with Mobil 1 synthetic ATF. Replaced with new pan and TC drain bolts and seals. Noticed a very slight ATF leak (droplets) when the car sits overnight. No leaks from the pan gasket or any of the drains. Seems to be coming from the right side of the TC. Is the synthetic too thin for an old tranny?
Did the same thing to my M103 (w124) last year with no leaking problems. The only difference was I used Quaker State ATF (non synth) in the w124 and this time Mobil 1 synthetic on the w201. I'm baffled...guidance from the experts would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

ARVY, did you ever find out where your tranny was leaking?

What appeared to be a leak was just leftover ATF. Did a thorough wiping and no "leaks" since. Tranny shifts nice.
