And, if possible, let us know what the dealer does and the results so that this thread will be meaningful when someone looks at it later.

Cheers,
Wes

I'm willing to bet that if you replaced the center link with new, the new center link is too short. Did you compare the two when you installed them? I was given the wrong center link (for a W124) for my 300 SD when I did the same thing you did and when I got it put together I had the same results the front end sat too high and it was rather difficult to drive and squealed the tires. I put the old center link back on and it was back to normal.

sorry i havent updated

ive been so busy yesterday was my first day off in two weeks. ok so as soon as i took the car off jacks and ran it it had a really bad shake at idle. after much though and much driving i realized it must be the motor mounts, shure enough and the p/s belt was about 1/2 an inch from the oil cooler line. well luckily i still had the good ones i had just put on my old one before i took it off the road so i installed them and i cant even tell the engine is running. today i took it for the alignment and all is well now. i figured hey, since its in the air ill ask them what they will charge me to adjust the steering box. they wanted to charge me 110 dollars to adjust it.hah i told them id do it myself.
