If anyone is interested. This is kind of close to me. I was thinking of going to check it out just for kicks.

if its a 230E, its injected. Power shouldn't be too bad, more than a 240D, thats for sure.

Power is even better than with the 300D turbo. No it doesn't have the torque of the 300D but off the line it moves quick. I have a coupe (see sig) and the car is a blast to drive. Yes its a fuelie and it's a more powerful version than the 2.3L that was found in the 190's available here in the US. Down side of the engine is that it needs premium fuel otherwise it pings bad unless you adjust the ignition timing to compensate for RUG and even then it pings going uphill if you floor it. Most noticable thing about the car is that it handles better than the diesels since the 2.3L engine is so much lighter than the diesel engines hence you have a much lighter feeling on curves. I love my gasser MB but since now I'm running WVO it won't be long that my 230CE will be up for sale. Its all a matter of economics, pay for fuel or not.
The best thing about the car is the A/C system. Its just like the one in the ebay car. Its the old manual type that works great and is far more reliable and more versatile. The automatic system in the 300D's suck!
