I changed every single break component to resolve a pulsating break last December, only to find out the wheel bearing was lose.

I would not have found this out if I did not wiggle the wheel when it was on the lift.

The cheap discs that were on my car were within thickness spec, but had cracked significantly. And they were warped. I don't think they were very old either.

I won't put an after market part on this car, unless it's the only choice.

Go buy yourself some OE or OEM rotors and report back. MB brake parts are dirt cheap.

Here is a good front disc from Fastlane:

N1000-16089 Brake Disc ATE IN STOCK $30.46

Note,

To my knowledge, while there are oem caliper suppliers, MB appears to make their own rotors! ATE, Balo, etc are all aftermarket. The price of a factory rotor is not much different than aftermarket-the difference was I paid $10 shipping where aftermarket stuff can be had on "free shipping".

Right now I am in North Carolina and will be home on Thursday the 14th. I will pull everything apart then when I get home and report back with my findings.
