Rattle on right turns 84 300d

When ever I make right turns in my 84 300d I get a rattle from around the trans. I just replaced the center support and bearing. Was hoping this was the problem but did not cure it, the old support was pretty well beat up. It only does it on right turns. I'm confused????? any thoughts????
Jimmy

Does it rattle only at speed? I had the same problem on my 85 300SD and it turned out to be the lower ball joint on the right side floating and rattling. Yes, replacing the ball joints solved the mysterious rattle.

Yes it only rattles when giving it gas around a right hand turn. I don't believe it is a ball joint, the noise seems to be comming from under the driveshaft tunnel just behind the shifter. Replaced the center support and bearing, did not fix problem. Flex discs appear to be fairly new. I'm thinking maybe motor mounts???? Maybe tranny mount????? Any feedback???? Thanx Jimmy

how about

exhaust system? that runs under the center of the car. maybe the strut that mounts to the front of the tranny with the ubolt that holds the exhaust.
