Once again things are back to normal..Diesel costs less than Gas....

Back when I stated this Diesel thing, gas was 1.67 and Diesel was 1.52..
Yesterday the pumps in NJ changed the gas prices astronomically...87 was $2.43 and 93 octane was $ 2.65 and Diesel was $2.22 !!!!

I cant wait to see the look on all those Escalade and Hummer owners!!!!

Diesel is 10 cents more than premium here at $2.49 a gallon, and rising. Due to the hurricane disrupting gulf oil production, no doubt. Although we do have some of the highest gas prices in the nation anyways.

My poor baby has been sitting in the garage due to fuel prices. Around $2.50 here.

I had not even been paying attention to the price of fuel till I read Carrameow's thread. Diesel is about the same price as mid-grade around here. Premium is $2.34/gallon - it will be $3/gallon before you know it. I have been running biod and purchase it from Fleet Pride right off of I75 south of Macon, GA. You have to have an account with them and then just get billed monthly. I am paying about $.10/gallon less for it than at the station.

Diesel finally went up from 2.29 to 2.49 up the street around here, but, Regular is now 2.49, with premium at 2.69!! That means premium went up by over 45 cents in one day here....needless to say our caravan won't be doing much driving! If it goes higher we may trade our van in at the stealership for a VW Golf tdi (used).....with manual tranny

I filled up at $1.99 on Wednesday. Locally I've only had to pay more than $2 twice. Gas is around $2.25, here in St Louis. I yearn for the good old days when diesel was more expensive than gas - in 1998, 13 mpg in my 450SEL didn't seem so bad at $.89/gal while the Passat was drinking at a steady $.99...

Hmmm... well here in east Orlando there is a Chevron station that has diesel for $2.699 per gallon... but down the street about a mile you can get it for $2.399. Prices I've seen have been between $2.379 and $2.419 lately.... premium is around $2.359, and regular unleaded at $2.159. Been driving with an awfully light foot lately... usually get around 22 mpg city driving, but got 24 on my last fillup.
