Quick! Need K1 spring kit instructions for Dad!
Car is an '82 SD
Sent out a K1 kit to my father, and I can't remember which order the springs go into the green tube. He's apparently doing the job today. The how-to web page is down. Can anyone who did this recently (I did mine about a year ago, and can't remember exactly), or who saved the instructions drop me a line. I just can't remember which order the two springs go together. And I need to walk him through it. Thanks! |

The 2 long springs have the smaller one fit inside the other. The smaller spring is at the "far" end, going in first. The last thing that comes out is the big diameter, short spring. Basically, if your Dad watches how it comes out, the new parts look nearly the same, and go back in the same order.So...
short spring in first, then plunger assembly with 2 springs one inside the other. He'll have to squeeze the 2 springs together until the black plastic piece and white plastic piece lock into each other.
