service C.D.s ("Need Plugins")

I'm running Mozilla and have Adobe7 and Macromedia Flash7 loaded and the
silly C.D. still tells me I'm missing a "Plugin"

The C.D. cautions against running Netscape (Too Many Issues?)

Do I have to run the dreaded Internet Explorer to get the C.D.s to work???

In a previous reincarnation (6 months ago) I could "Non-Georgia Tech
Engineering Approved Methodology"and get the very same C.D.s to work.

Service CD's

I have what I thnk are copies of the service CDs which I purchased on EBay. As far as I can tell they are exactly the same as on this site, http://skinnerbox.steaky.org/ except that I find the CD's much easier to use. I believe when I first loaded my CD's into the computer, it indicated that I needed "plug ins". As I recall, I just ignored it after I couldn't find the plug ins and the CD's just work great. I hope that yours will do the same. Also, I should say that I use Mozilla for my browser which works as well as Internet Explorer.

If it was easy everybody would do it!

CD's

I think I received the same set of disks the other day. Try scrolling to the bottom of the page and hit "continue"; it worked for me. Once I got to the library, and the section that I needed, it pulled up Adobe and came on the screen as a pdf. We have all the latest updates on all of the programs; I think this "plugin" crap is probably just another of Bill Gates & Co's nasty little tricks.

Good luck,
Jim

PS We are also running Mozilla

Talking scrolling Down

Thanks!

I never thought of scrolling down and ignoring the "Need Plugins" message!
