Dear Mr. Dawg:

We have been informed recently that your vehicle may not be in compliance with the exhaust temperature standard that is currently required of every vehicle in the state.

The regulation states:

The exhaust of any vehicle, as measured at the tailpipe, must not be more than 250 degrees Fahrenheit.

It has come to our attention that you have caused the paint on the entire forward end of one Hummmer H2 $hitbox to be completely burned off the vehicle. Furthermore the operator of said vehicle has provided some photographs that appear to show that her hair was completely burned off as well.

Mr. Dawg, we have concluded that the exhaust temperature, as measured at the exit of your tailpipe must be significantly higher than 250 degrees Fahrenheit.

Please correct this situation at your earliest opportunity to bring your vehicle in compliance with the statute.

Sincerely,

TCEQ

I wouldn't be surprised if the blades and seals are not damaged quite a bit already. A few runs on the salt flats probably caused some serious internal wear in a short time if he was running without filters (most probable).

The other deal is a compressor stall. I shudder to think about exactly where the flame front will go if one of those babies stall at high power.

And, the likelihood of a stall is that much greater with eroded seals and blades.

From looking at the car, the intake is either from the front bumper or underneath. Restricted air intake on top of that. Shudder! An accident waiting.
