i saw a 123 wagon with a recent repaint in manila beige with new roof rails and crossovers, new side trim and only the mb emblem on the tail. it looked very tidy. i am thinking of that when i repaint in a few years.

that 4 cyl looks just like the 6 do they have any power what are they like to drive?

it is great to drive, more accelleration than the 300TD, quite a bit faster on the highway as well.

Did you have to remove the sunroof because of bolt access for the roof rack? My donor car has a good roof rack, but my keeper has a pitted and rusty rack. I'm tempted to swap them, but I'm worried about trying to get everything apart to access the bolts.

yes, the middle one is under the sun roof part, i removed it to remove the center part of the rack
