Extension cords

Get good quality one minimum 50ft. Install a large hook into a wall stud at head height. Loop the cord in large (6ft. tall) loops, that way you have less kinks. Spray paint the top of the loops. That way when you string the cord out you don't have to pull it back in and have it catch under the door or on the lawnmower. Just walk along the length and pick up the cord at every paint mark.

My dad and I built our garage..
It houses:
-Air Service (every 10feet along the wall there is a quick connect and a few drop lines from the ceiling)
-Sectioned Lighting (Florecent)
-Mill, Head Machine, Drill Press, Grinders, etc.
-Big Tool Box
-Chain Pull Hoist
-Dual Sliding Doors
-Tons of shelf space w/ boxes (labled)
-Few Work Benches
-Stereo

There is so much stuff in there is hard to imagine.
The furnace and air compressor are in the back (a good idea...both noisy) with the machines. Tools/hoist are up front with workbenches on either side.

Those rolling carts are great to have if you can get one...you can put all the tools you are going to need for a job right in the cart and take it out with you...saves having to go back to the BIG BOX for more tools.

Oh by the way...I am the son of a 42 year old diesel mechanic
Been wrenching for a living since 17. I guess that is why we have a few tools
