Lubro Moly or Liqui Moly
Which is a better diesel purge ? What is the difference between the 2 ?
What is the preferred choice between the 2 for doing a diesel purge ? |

I used Lubromoly. I guess my injectors wern't that bad because I didn't notice that much difference but I have read here that it has really help some people.
Where in Ca. are you? |
LubroMoly and LiquiMoly Diesel Purge are the same thing, just under different names, LiquiMoly is what it's branded in Europe, LubroMoly is what it's branded as here.

The older cans use to say Liqui Moly, the new labels now read Lubro Moly. Lubro Moly is the company name.

I've heard a couple stories where this stuff wasted the seals inside the injection pump.
I'd like to use it in my 240D. What do you think? |

I stand corrected, thanks sixto for pointing that out, sorry DB444.
The epc shows that in a 240, but no five cylinder engines. One parts web site shows it to fit '86-'95s only. |
If you broaden your search in EPC to include more than just "North America" vehicles, you can see that the rubber o-ring was used in 5 and 6 cylinder diesels around the world. I wonder why it doesn't show up for North America versions of the OM617 (at least according to EPC)?
