Cruise Control issues..

I know that many of us have Cruise Control issues so I figured I would throw mine out and see if anyone can tell me what I need to buy to fix it..

When you go to engage the cruise, it will engage but start creeping up maybe 10mph quickly and then it drops.. Grabs and goes up again and drops causing a surging... Any ideas???

Anytime you get erratic behavior like this, it almost certainly is the amplifier.

The SDL would do similar things, then it decided that it wouldn't engage at all.

Mine recently joined that club... guess it's time to remove it and play with the soldering iron.

Amplifier is the usual thing but this can be caused by a bad actuator which will ruin an amplifier.
