93 300D 2.5L Gear Linkage Bushings
My car apparently came without the 2 gear lingakage bushings. I am suspecting the heat in Florida may have something to do with it. Some of the rubber parts on the car show severe weather damage.
I was able, after much effort, change the bushing directly below the gear stick, under the car. The other bushing is next to the NSS. I removed the NSS and found that the arm which houses the second bushing is hooked on to the tranny. Looks like a fairly tedious job. Has anyone replaced the bushing next to the NSS ? Any help or pointers would be appreciated. |
