I recently won an auction for a front downpipe for the SD. The price was $128.00 shipped. A fantastic price.

So, after speaking with the seller, The Exhaust Warehouse, I find that this is their primary business. So, I ask about the same downpipe for the SDL.

He gets back to me with a price of $117.00.

Both prices include shipping.

..........technically correct. BTW, it was not an auction, per se. You could buy it at a fixed price. There were four available at the same price.

I did.

The downpipe is about $225.00 or so plus shipping. I was tempted, for sure, but, even more tempted to put the $100. in my pocket.

I'm spending a ton of money on the SD right now, more than I should. But, it needs a reliability upgrade under the hood, in addition to the head gasket.
