Kilometers or miles?

On the Mb's is the odometer reading in Kilometers or actual miles?

Also on the little resettable counter does it count in miles or Kilometers?

Thanks
Kevinlee

I think it depends on the market where the car was originally sold. Kilos in Canada and Mexico, Miles in US and UK, etc....

Both my Mexican beetle and Citroen were in kilometers.......

Canada was miles up until 1978. My '76 300D is in miles.

Wow...I didn't know that. We tried to convert to metric back in the late 70's.....but we are just too stuck in our old ways down there. :-) I think it would go over better now if they tried to convert again. At least most of the folks around now have heard of a kilometer, kiloliter, etc. Back then, it was so "foreign" to us......
