AC schrader valve question
 
When converting from r12 to r134, the kits give you new hose adapters fitting. Do you have to remove the schrader valve stems from the original r12 fitting before screwing on the new r134 fitting?

If there is no pin to open the schrader valve then yes!

All you have to do is look at the new valve.

Did the question ask about the valve core or the valve stem?
