A nice '58 219 rolled into the shop today...

28k miles on it! Original owner. It was out being excersized by the guy who takes care of her cars. (Including a Super Bee that she bought new)

Anyone notice the shift points on this 58' are almost identical to a 82 300D's shift points? That's one beautiful car.

Are the circles minimum upshift points? Did it have a Hydrak tranny? Can I have his job when he retires?

I would hope it does not have a Hydrak auto clutch, they are junk. I'm working on restoring a 58 219 right now for the origonal owner. The biggest problem is getting all the special nuts and bolts, I may end up buying a parts car for the project.
