Question about MityVac

Does it actually "solve" any problems with vacuum leaks, or is it just a tool to detect it?

Its a tool for testing and diagnosing Vacuum system problems.
Absolutely invaluable in my opinion with a Diesel.

It's primarily a diagnostic tool. For the most part, it cannot "fix" things.

A MityVac works on a vacuum system like a voltmeter works on an electrical system.
