Anyone have the 123 side molding clips
Looking for the round press in molding clips that hold the side body moldings in place for a 123 series .. mine are round red ones that just press in.
Kind of in a hurry too...MB dealer wants $$$ \ found em on ebay but don't want to do the auction thing. I need enough for the full length of each side... maybe 30+ thanks for any leads bennett |

I may be mistaken . . . FastLane typically has the moulding clips. For my W124 I believe they were $0.30 @ or something like that.

20 cents each.
www.allimportedparts.com The ebay sellers say you need 30 clips per side. But they sell them in lots of 25 each. I'll bet they used to work at Sears!!! Last edited by tangofox007; 08-28-2005 at 02:44 PM. |

red clips
i recently had an issue with the red clips, they would not fit in the holes tight enough causing the trim to pop off, there are some blue ones mercedes makes that fit much tighter, i found they were the better way to go, let me know if you need a part number, i will get it on monday.

I just bought a enough to do my whole car from www.**************.com. They sell sets of 65 clips for the 123, $18.50. Do a search for trim clips on this site and they will show up.

my local bod shop simply pulled the red clips off the popped off trim i had and used three pieces of 2 sided tape and some sticky brown glue in a caulking tube. then taped the ends down with duct tape. left the dt on for three hours then gently pulled it off.
