Roy don't fear, the station down the street is $3.25 for gas, $2.79 for diesel (same as pre-hurricane). If diesel was going to go up, it would have already.

$2.99/gallon for diesel last night in Duluth, GA. It was the only type of fuel they hadn't run out of yet, too.

Still 2.69 at the meijer station right up around the corner from me (.2miles )

Premium is now 90 cents more than diesel there, our van is never going to move again!

The people really hurting are those who buy SUV's on leases or super low/long payments and in reality can't really afford one, now they are paying like what for fuel for a car they can barely (if at all) afford to own, I suspect there's a lot of people out there like that.....

Red face I paid....

$2.79 last night and again this morning on my other diesel. I have seen $3.42 a gallon for diesel as the highest. This is in Wilson, NC. On the other hand the diesel supply seems as though it will last a little longer around here after the gas supply has been depleted. A silver lining perhaps?

Still holding at $2.69 here for diesel and as much as $3.07 for RUG. We're just north of Baltimore, Md.

Just down the road from the $2.69 diesel I saw diesel at $2.93.

Am going down to the shore this weekend and I'll let you know the "cheapest" diesel. Bet it'll be the Flying J. They usually seem to be the cheapest although the Enroy just over the Va. line [eastern shore on Rt.13] are sometimes cheaper.

Cheers,

Bill

Went from $2.43 to $2.70 overnight at my favorite station(45 cetane), so I went to 20/80 RUG/WVO. Worked out to $.60 per gallon and I can't believe how quiet it is!

I hate it for those on the margin, but I'm gonna love seeing all those commuter Hummers for sale!

Ouch

This will effect fuel prices..

Dan Craig, director of recovery for the Federal Emergency Management Agency, estimated that it could take six months to drain the city and another three months to dry it. State officials said that it would take more than a month, and that pumping would begin on Monday.

BTW the owner of the station was less than happy of me taking pictures of his price changes but so beit, I told him hey man you're not profiting on me for long! FL DOT has been advised.

That's not the worst, ATL has seen Diesel go as high as $5.99, naw that's not gouging???
