What years half shafts will fit a 123?

Are there any other years of axles shafts that will fit a 1980-81 240D

My online autozone search yielded nothing.. as not available..?
Just curious if they shared any other later years into the later 80s?

thanks

Bennett

I believe that all years of the W123, both 300D and 240D, will provide interchangeable half shafts. Have even heard that the W115 half shafts are useable, but would expect them to be a lot harder to find. There is some length problem in using shafts from a W126, but even that may not be impossible with the right spacers?!?
