If I didn't have to take about 75Lbs of tools I would and don't think I'm not trying to to find some place to stash them at work. If it wasn't for the tools I'd probably walk half the time.

I think most everyone is caught off guard and most of us here can only be grateful we have only marginally better fuel users for cars!

""I'll be riding my Whizzer a ton more for sure.""

A Whizzer eh? Don't you have to stop every few miles and siphon off the excess gas?

Sorry Busy but the whole caught off guard thing in my opinion is a copout. The world has known for years that they need to slow/reduce consumption but nooooooooo. That would be too much to ask. As I sit here in my office, looking down at K Street below I see huge SUVs on the curb with stupid asses sitting in them, asleep, idling. WTF? With these kinds of consumption habits how can anybody expect the price of petroleum to go down? There are some seriously ignorant falsely-entitled people out there. Caught off guard? I think people are just too illiterate to read the writing on the wall.

LOL....the factory claims 120 MPG. Still wish it would run on WVO.

Cheers,

Bill

Troverman,
Park that lump of British trash and drive the VW. Once read a review on a Range Rover that stated flatly "Only a retarded yuppie would buy this thing" I concur. Or maybe the time is right for an H2 purchase to round out your fleet? RT

Every vehicle has its place, I have a friend that has a Ford Excursion (8000lb monstrosity) and uses it as a second vehicle for towing a large boat with family, as well as the occasional weekend project hauler. It gets driven about 4000 miles a year and he uses its full capibilites. It's the idiots with one person in the thing going to and from work getting 7 mpg that are the problem.

I believe the H2 has a place as well, crawling up and down mountians! Not cars in parking lots.

I believe the H2 has it's place as well. The only problem is that the hole hasn't been dug yet.

I don't know how many of you remember the Rambler American but I used to drive one. The standard joke was pull into a gas station and tell the attendant to fill up the oil and check the gas. Oh, and yes gas stations used to have attendants.

I am wondering at what price people will finally slow down. At $3.00 a gallon I still see them racing to the next red light in their Suburbans.
