123 Euro Light Installation

Hello everybody,
I just switched my lights out for Euro Lights on my 1985 Euro 300D W123. I have posted pictures and a quick how to here. I do however have a couple of questions for anybody in the know. What kind of lights do I get for the fog lights? I can’t find a place for the lights to go. There is a ground wire that attaches to a metal piece but the black wire that goes with it up to that point jumps off and goes to a plug. Also there is a small light inside the main light body that I don’t have a power wire for. Can I splice off my low beam power??? What is this small light for?

Thanks,
Matt

The small light is a parking light.

If your's is similar to my set, the fog light is an H3 bulb, and the power wire attaches to a plastic block at the bottom of the housing. It'll have a slit in the block to take the blade of the wire connector. You may have to do some poking around with a multimeter to see which plug on the light housing feeds the parking light, and which wire on the US plug is fed voltage by the dashboard switch, so you can alter your wiring accordingly, if you want the parking lights to work.
