W126 fuel line material
I'm fixin' to run B100 in my '86 300SDL. I've looked everywhere trying to determine if there's any natural rubber in either the fuel supply line or fuel return line. So far, no luck.
Can anyone out there answer this question for me, or tell me who might know the answer? I've tried MB dealer parts desks, MB customer support, auto parts stores, MB shop manuals, and other shop manuals. Nothing! Help. wej |
I'm with you
HI Weej,
I'm with you. I can only get B100 here in Phoenix. But the car runs great on about B35..I just fill up with dino diesel and then the rest of the way with Bio. Also, this may not last but currently, bio is the same or cheaper then dino. I would like to start running B100 but I too have heard that it will eat natural rubber. When you get your answer, I'd appreciate it if you'd email me. Thanks, Tom |
Tom-
Where are you getting Bio in PHX? I'm in the East Valley (Chandler/Gilbert) and haven't found any sources yet. Thanks, Adam |
