wierd power window problem
so the other night, i get out to work and my right front window wont roll up (or down),other three work fine.so i pull the switch cluster out of the console and discover two wires that came off of the switch. so in the dark i have a 50/50 chance, right? picked the wrong ones, and blew a fuse.so i just left it and took a closer look yesterday. So i very carefully copied the left side and re connected the wires to the right front switch, replaced the blown fuse, and now every window works smoothly. but then i discover that somehow all the windows are now hot right off the battery. before i needed to switch the ignition key to access, or the first notch, but now they work with no key at all, what did i do wrong? how could it be that every window works perfectly but the power source magically changed. is it possible that when i blew the fuse that the pwr window relay fused in the closed position? thus making power flow thru this relay all the time? where is this relay, and is it possible to obtain a wiring diagram for the pwr window switches? or is my thinking flawed? not an electrical expert....... :bulb: :bulb: :bulb:
