1982 300D-T transmission fluid capacity
How many quarts of ATF should be on hand when you change out your transmission fluid and filter? Torque Converter included too.

300d T
Look in the manual.
What you might just want to put in 6 quarts, start it up and start adding little by little. You most definitely do NOT want to over fill it at all. If you do loosen the transmission cooler line and drain it off a little bit in a bucket. Have fun. I think it holds 7.? something quarts, but double check in the manual to be sure. I am sure one of your many old diesel relics have a blue owners manual explaining capacities.
