Gotta sell my SD :( (in Southern NJ)

I hate to do it, but I'm moving and can't find a way of getting it over with me. I have it posted in the F/S forum if anyone is interested:

http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/mercedes-benz-cars-sale/133928-1981-300sd-southern-nj-tri-state-area.html#post982895

For those who attended the NE GTG at Bill's, this is the one I brought over there.

Wish I was in the market for another right now. Anyway, you won't have any problem getting $2500 for that.

You'll be hard pressed to replace your car for what you're selling it for.

Too bad it has to go and really too bad I don't have the extra money!

You won't have a problem getting what you're asking for it.

BTW....you're invited to the next GTG, even MBZ-less.

Cheers,

Bill

Yes...SWMBO would have to be dealt with if I brought another home....and that might turn ugly real quick as most married guys know.

Thanks for the words of encouragement! I know I won't be able to replace it for that price, but unfortunately the need for a quick sale necessitates the low price. It will be a good deal for somebody!

Bill, I'll try to make it out for the next one... hopefully I'll have another MB by then!

Biggest problem is cash....next month we have the shareholder vote on the merger...

then the bloodletting begins as there will be 7,000 jobs cut and nobody can say who will and won't get it..

I am likely safe but I prefer to be safe than sorry. And you can never have too much in the bank for an emergency.

Boy, I know all too well how an emergency can eat up the bank account.

Hope you survive the cut.

Cheers,

Bill

Good luck with that... hopefully you won't get cut! I went through that about 7 years ago and now once again. The company I work for is laying off left and right. I'd stay until it was layoff time and get a good severence, but the job market is not so good in my area right now for what I do. I didn't want my daughter getting interrupted mid-year in school, so we decided to move. Better jobs, better schools, nicer area, lower cost of living. Loving it so far

Glad I work for myself. No boss, no cuts and sometimes no pay.

Like I said...even if you don't own a MBZ by the next GTG, stop by!

Any takers on the car? If not I'll be surprised.

Cheers,

Bill

Well, it's sold. It was very sad to see it drive off, but I'm glad it went to a good home (fellow forum member bought it). So I'm Benz-less for now. I still have a bunch of w123 parts, so I'll probably be looking for one when I get out to NWA.
