flushing IP, Injector Lines ETC.
Think this got lost in the crash. Having a hard time posting sorry if this ends up a duplicate thread.
Can you actually flush the Fuel filters, IP and injector lines WITHOUT turning over the engine if you install a 12v fuel pump. Wondering if you can flush cool (but not gelled) fuel from these areas by pumping in warmed fuel. I assume the answer is a YES/NO thing. With Yes for some areas and No for others. If that is the case... what areas will get flushed out and what areas won't?

everything BUT the injector lines.........you get nothing to them if the pistons are not driving anything to them.

So far this sounds about what I expected. Any other input out there?

You could
If I understand what you are trying to do you could crack the injector lines and crank the engine with the 12V pump on and flush out jelled SVO it is a little bit of a hassle not to mention frozen fingers but a lot better than being stuck in Michigan during the middle of winter. Ok being stuck in Michigan any time would be worth the trouble to get out of there. You might have to warm the injectors if it was real bloody cold though.

I suppose Matt is right about cracking the injectors.
If u r looking to clean out the above areas, a diesel purge will take care of that. That is running the diesel purge at the primary filter and putting the return fuel line in the can. |

nope I don't have anything gelled in my lines. Just considering ways to introduce warmed blended WVO fuels into the engine at start up instead of cold fuel.
