Official Fuel Mileage Report Thread

The old one was lost, not much was lost since it was created the day of the crash. I'll start off again, and remember, this is the format we'll use in future reports in this thread.

Dates from fillup to fillup: 10/7/05-10/14/05

Vehicle: 1982 300D turbodiesel

Miles driven from fillup to fillup: 388.3

*Mileage Percentage: 60% highway, 40% city

MPG: 24MPG

*optional

I'd would like for you to wait until you fill up again to do your report, and for you to use the format like I posted.

Thanks.

Verifiable mileage? That seems a tad high (for mixed driving)

420 - 450 miles per fill, and a consistant 22.0 MPG. Slightly lower in the winter due to winter fuel. All highway driving may make it go up 1 - 1.5 MPG, but I rarely drive a full tank on the highway.

Dates from fillup: 1/1/05 to 9/29/05

Vehicle: 1983 300D Turbo

Miles Driven: 11236.4 miles

Fuel Used: 460.956 gallons

MPG: 24.38

Probably about 40% city, 60% highway driving

I have filled up twice this month - once from empty and once from about a 1/2 tank - I haven't included those numbers yet - I recalculate everything at the end of the month.

My driving is always 60 highway/40 local or 70/30.

9/5 - 9/20 388 miles 15.9 gallons 24.4mpg
9/20 - 9/24 155 miles 6.5 gallons 23.8mpg
9/24 - 10/7 381 miles 15.5 gallons 24.5mpg
10/7 - 10/8 206 miles 9.6 gallons 21.4mpg

That last one is weird because that was all highway. In the rain with the AC on. The AC does suck up a lot of power but it get pretty cold.
I haven't filled up since the 8th I'll edit this with the next results. I think it will be interesting to see what the next mileage will be.
As a side note I seemed to have gained 1 - 1.5mpg since cleaning the injectors.

Don't know what you mean by verifiable but that is what the fuel receipt and odometer said.

mileage

95 e300d 156,000 gets 590-675 miles/tank on average. 31.something/mpg for last three fill-ups. 70 miles/day round trip some highway, some city, some a/c. Very easy on the throttle lately - now I'm a master coaster.
