Arrow Stick It To The Man!!!!!

IMHO, it's up to every MB Diesel owner here to start running their cars on alternative fuel. Supply and Demand is right....

Regular Unleaded: $2.29. Diesel: $3.69.

That's over $1 more per gallon for diesel fuel!

The way it's going, diesel is going cost double the price of gasoline before too long.

Yep here too, the prices continue to climb, at every speedway in the area it goes as follows: RUG: 2.45 Mid: 2.52 Prem: 2.59 Diesel: 3.49 to 3.59

Maybe I should have bought a 380SE.....

To fill a 380SE with Prem from empty: $59 (24ish gallons)

To fill my 300SD with diesel from empty: $76 (21ish gallons)

Taking mileage into account.....the gasser would remain cheaper till premium was back around 3.05ish vs. diesel at 3.59

Overall I don't care that its expensive, I like my car too much to care about fuel costs when driving it. But still, it'd be nice to have both cars to use in leu of different prices at different times.

I don't care how much it costs! I will spend it to drive my new best friend She and I have been out getting our exercise the last 4 weeks. For some reason we like Cape Cod the best @ 2.749/gal. Anyway gotta go, I think I got a hankerin' for some oyster stew and cheap diesel! I just can't sit still

BTW- Have gone over 4k since aquisition on 9/29/05 and just finished oil change #2! This has honestly been the best $1200 I ever spent

Here in Bezerkel-town, Biodiesel is $3.60 and diesel #2 is between $3.25 and $3.40. Hell, that makes it easy -- fill me up wit that veggie blend, will ya, sweet pea? BTW, the biodiesel collective here is run by ladies, a couple of 'em are babes. And people wonder why I live in this God forsaken liberal hell-hole.

If you run on alternative fuels, you *are* a liberal... at least that's what my friends tell me.

Here in Dallas, the Citgo near my house finally dropped yesterday from $3.39 to $3.19 for #2 diesel. Just as the price differential was nearing $1/gallon.

Well, well ..., diesel has now gone up to $3.65 and regular down to $2.29 here in Indianapolis. My wife is really getting a kick out of this, me not talking about how muck money I am saving driving the 300sd instead of the truck. Still watching for good news, i have not driven my 300sd for 3 weeks now!

Diesel is an alternative fuel.

Biodiesel, WVO and the like are boutique fuels.

diesel higher than gas

We have had an increase in price in both diesel fuel and gas because of storm in new orleans. The main way that we overcame the lack of ability of refining oil was by purchasing reserves from the Europe. These reserves in europe are all ready refined. i have a feeling that to sell diesel we would need to refine, which is driving the price. Where buying refined oil from europe keeps the price of gas stable and sometimes dropping. Just a thought.

I run on 100% Biodiesel. About 70 cents a gallon. what an easy solution.

The Sunoco in McLean was at $3.189, but the Exxon next to it was at $2.999 so I jumped on it! Still cost me $49.75.
