Normally, you won't get citric acid in those bottles. Citric acid is usually obtained in powder form and you won't find it in an auto supply place.

IIRC, Valvoline and Prestone make a "radiator flush" in a small bottle (pint?). This is what you are looking for.

Okay...., I think we're passing each other here.

I'm now asking about the citric acid. If I get it in powdered form, how much do I use when doing a flush. I've already used the 1 pint commercial flush from prestone.

OK, I thought you were going to pass on the citric acid this weekend.

BHD provided the quantity in post #7................2.2 lbs.
