BTW I know on the w126 body you can access the trunk by removing the first aid box bottom (the black part). I use that to stow things in the trunk when inside the car...

I just had to take my trunk lock apart and now must take it to the locksmith, I lost a little spring. The key is funky and I will need them to remake it.
