Thinking of changing oil...
...I've been using Delo 400, but it seems like it gets really thin when the car is warm. Like thin enough that it drips off the dip stick when the car is warmed up. Is this normal for all 15w-40 oils? Does Rotella do this as well?

Any oil will flow more freely when heated, but that doesn't mean they lose their lubricating properties. 15W-40 is the recommended 'weight' for most M-B Diesels, but depending where you live, 20W-50 is OK in hotter weather and 5W-40 can be used in colder climates. Any choice though should be a Diesel Rated oil (minimum CF rated).

Mobil 1 0W-40 looks and flows like coffee when cold.

Stay with 15W-40 for NC. I prefer full synthetic

That's normal for any oil when warm, Delo holds up as well as any other non-synthetic.
