115 240d starter into 220d?

There's a local '75 240d starter available... does anyone know if this would fit my '69 220d? I couldn't find a FastLane p/n for the '69...

It will fit. I think it may even be the exact same starter. If I was going to change a starter though, I would use one from a 300D turbo. It will spin the engine a bit faster which will make cold starts a lot easier.
