actually it is a relatively rare fuel injected engine. 20 years ago i might have drug it home for that alone.

I think if that car was moved it would literally fall apart. Significant rust issues!

That's painful to see
I had a '62 220SE when I was in high school. I only drove it briefly before I started to take it apart for restoration. My family had to move and I couldn't take it with me so I had to junk it. I still regret it to this day. I have yet to see a decent early 220SE for sale... I'd love to find a gray one with red interior like I had. Those injected cars seem to be hard to find!
