I'm baaaaackkk - 1991 350sdl

i am currently in negotiations with the person who bought my 350sdl from me a while back.

i might be able to get it back for 500 or less. we'll see. apparently, the rear window refused to go back up but one can hear the electric motor. the dealer wants 400 or so to fix it. this is the last straw for her. there is a plastic tarp over the window now. ha! i am tempted to own a benz again.

driving a honda civic on the interstate as a big semi passes is such a death thrill.

so what do you guys think? is this window thing a big deal?

You can fix that window yourself or go to an indy, for less than 400.

The window is most likely the sliding jaw, a $6 plastic piece.

You should call around to Junk Yards and locate a regulator if thats what you need.

Welcome back

Welcome back JenTay
We have missed your wit and charm.
I just did the RR window on my 1985 300SD.
Best guess, it should be a one to three hour job for you.
