300TD hydraulic line @ pump question

I replaced the hydraulic pump on my '80 300TD today, and have a whopper of a leak at the banjo style fitting on top of the pump. This is the high pressure line of course.
So, my question quite simply is this. In between the bolt head and fitting is a copper washer. Should there also be a washer on the other side of the fitting, in between it and the pump?
That is where the leak is. :(

Can you borrow a copper washer off the other car and see if it seals up?

there needs to be a washer on both sides for it to seal properly

Well, first of all, I don't think I should take anything off the non-leaking '85, as with my luck it will become the leaking '85.
I looked at the '85 and couldn't tell if it had a copper washer top AND bottom. Do banjo fittings usually have washers on both sides of the hose fitting?
I'm gonna go by the dealer this week, as I have to return a non-used $11 seal, so I'll look at their exploded diagram and see what it shows. Than I'll get the washers from them I guess. Wish I had the exploded parts diagram like they do. Very handy.
The failed attempt today to get the smoker back on the road was still fresh on my mind, so I thought someone might know the answer and let me know prior to my dealer visit. I'm just curious NOW...
BTW, after sitting there for weeks the smoker started right up. Smoked, sputtered, shook and shuttered, but started up on maybe half a revolution of the starter. Love that poor wagon......

**edit**
Ray, I guess we were typing at the same time. 2 washers, duly noted, and thanks. Makes sense after all. I just hope that when I tightened it down I didn't deform the aluminum pump opening too badly.
