A Borg Warner IHI RHC6 from a 93-94 GM 6.5L Diesel.
The closest thing it compares to is a Garrett TO4B S. It wouldn't work well on a 617, it would be running close to the surge line all the time, spool slower than the stock turbo and it would actually be more inefficient too (running at 70% instead of 74% at 12psi @4500rpm.) |

If you want a near bolt-on upgrade, the 50-trim compressor wheel (and housing) from an 86-87 300SDL/87 300D or the 55-trim wheel from the 91+ 3.5L engine would be a very good match and slightly more efficient.

If I am doing a roll-yer-own efi/turbo 292 chevy 6 what would be a good choice on the turbo-in a dually sized truck?
