Thumbs up Odd starting in cooler weather. Rock dampner? Diesel Purge?

Started the SD up this morning and it idled very poorly in the cooler temps we have here now. I had to keep the foot into the pedal around 1200rpm to get it to stay idling (wasn't like this a few weeks back with warmer temps). After that the idle is quite low and takes a while to smooth out. I did hear a slight idle surge when warming up also.

Does Diesel Purge have any impact on the prechambers or is it mainly for injectors? I'm curious to if my GPs aren't getting those chambers hot enough due to some carbon.

If not that, will my Rock Damper need to be adjusted/replaced?

I didn't really drive the SD last fall/winter as it didn't have a heater and was irritating after a while.

If the rack damper bolt is worn out or in too tight it can cause a poor cold idle like that, mine was ALL the way in, and it would stall till you let it warm to 50C with your foot on the pedal! Once it was adjusted it'd start without the pedal, and run/idle without it too. Even when pretty darn cold out.

Start with an adjustment and go from there... time to search for that!

Haven't tested, they're pretty new though. I'll test them tomorrow.
