Wow. That's really cool,

Here I thought I was the only person who'd want to photograph a milestone odometer reading....then again, I've only gotten to 200K....

can't wait to get there myself. I'm stuck at 220,000 with no time for any good long mileage road trips

Why is the speedo at 28mph, the oil gauge at 2.1bar (idle) and the rpms at 0? Something weird is going on there!

Unless, the engine was warmed up and you were coasting (hence the oil pressure), and the tach doesn't work. Its what mine would look like in that situation.

Its probably the situation you mentioned. I got the same 'eeek' from people when I posted my 250k image, because I was coasting at the time I took the picture, on a warmed up engine. If my tach wasn't working, the image would have looked identical to his.

As a side note, I think its really respectable how we wear our mileage as a badge of honor, instead of a shameful secret (like most other makes of cars).

peace,
sam

Now THAT would have stuck to all them other makes and models!

HA! My engine has 350K AND CAN STILL DO 100MPH with LOTS OF ROOM TO SPARE!!!

Now, I have always wanted to see a Ferrari with 100K + but that never happens??? Do the engines break before that?
I imagine that a car, such as a Testarossa that needs 10K timing belt to be changed by removing the engine can not be good!

Some get there....but many people disconnect their speedos in fear of depreciation....sexy cars...but then I don't like my cars or women to be high maintenance types.
