240d flywheel balance

my machinist put the 240 flywheel i have for converting a 617 to stick on his balancing machine and spun it 1500 rpm and found it perfect. he said he could stand a dime on the machine with the flywheel spinning on it.

i am thinking that mercedes has a proceedure that balances the cranks and flywheels together IN CASE they have a crank that won't balance out perfectly and in that case they can correct it by mating the fw and balancing them together.

so bottom line is to be safe it is a good idea to have them checked before installng them.
