Fuses, maybe?

Allright, it's your favorite moron here again!

In the fuse box there are, shocking, fuses which are all numbered, got that. There are also several little "boxes" that plug in as well. First off, what the hell are those? And could those little mothers be responsable for the battery drain that's going on?

Thanks again, you guys are the best!

My mom's father-in-law bought it new, then my mom's husband had it for a while, and now it's mine. First week I had it someone hit the drivers door and took off! Other than that the body is great. As for the interior, the backseat needs to be redone and a couple of minor things. I love that iconic big body Benz look. My goal is to get it back to it's original posh condition. Thanks in advance for the help.

Those "little box's" are relays. And if they are bad can ground and cause battery drain.
The only way I know to test them is to find one that works. Like for the air conditioning compressor and put them all in one by one into that slot.

Which is which?

Is there a way to know which relay goes to where? They're all just lettered with no sort of explaination to go with them.
