Exact same situation here...

Used some odd rings I had in the drawer that fit becuase I didn't have the replacements yet.

Probably do them in the next couple oil changes. It gets hot down there ;)

They're so inexpensive that I'll just swap them with each oil change.

They don't need to be changed that often, and they're annoying to get on and off when in good shape (when they still stretch instead of shatter ;) ) I think once a year is plenty.
