I have a 1983 300d that I have had for 5 years. I love it and have put almost 50,000 miles on since i purchased it. I have a chance to buy a Turbo Diesel G-wagen, that is the only reason I would sell it. I don't know what to ask for it. I will get suggestions from you, let me tell you all the bad.
(A)Only one spot of rust, that is below the rear window, I am going to remove the glass and repair this, I have also bought a new seal for the rear window.
(B)Antenna does not go up and down.
(C)Headlight doors are cracked (1)fog light has some rust in it.
(D)Dent on lower drivers front quarter panel between wheel and door-door ok
(E)paint is shiny, but it is fading.(I give it a good buff every 6 months.)
The good far outways the bad!!!!!!!!(all the things listed have been replaced either recently or within the last 2years.
1. A/c works and blows cold
2.new blower motor
3.Replaced upper A/C line
4.New fan clutch
5.new engine mounts/shocks
6.new rotors/brakes
7.2 new brake calipers
8.new upper control arm bushings/ball joints
9.new lower control arm bushings/ball joints
10.new trailing joint bushing(not installed yet)
11.New winshield seal(intalling this weekend)
12.Repacked drivers seat.
13.Interior is in EXCELLENT CONDITION!(Only dash cracks-covered with dash pad)
14. New front shocks.
Other than what is listed above, EVERYTHING WORKS, even the clock!!

This is a light blue on dark blue interior, a really nice car and color combo. I wanted to produce a picture, but my computer is still down(thanks to RITA) I am borrowing a lesser computer
I was thinking of asking about $3500.00
