Check out your local parts shop or Wally-World. They often have feeler gauges that are marked both Imperial and metric for about $4.

Yeah, I didn't see any though that were just metric.

Oh well. Live and learn.

They don't have to have the exact metric conversion to be useful. If the Imperial measuremant is one or two thou. off the metric just make the adjustment a bit tighter or loser as required.
