Unlike the old saying, you can indeed teach an old dog new tricks. What it takes is showing him something that is new to him, but that he has not already learned does not work. I've seen horses that were 20 years old taught things that were COMPLETELY new to him, but at that age the horse has learned alot about the world he lives in and won't fall for some of the things that would fool a young horse.

Yes, differing opinions are indeed what makes the world interesting. I'm glad that you are man enough to realize that yours smells no better than anyone elses.

capitalism vs. socialism: Neither one will work in the pure form and at the same time neither should be ignored or feared. Another problem is if they are economic or governmental systems? I think capitalism is mostly an economic system and can be used with different governmental systems while socialism leans way to the governmental side with economics being part of the government.

As far as the have it now or have it later----there has to be a balance of both that works.
