Dadgum Seat Presets...I know, not a Diesel issue

My 300SD....now that I've owned it 18 months and put 35,000 miles on it....I figured it was time to find out how to work the seat presets.

Both front seats have them, but no owners manual so I don't know how to make them work.....

I'd really like to store the most comfortable setting so that when SWMBO drives it I can just push a button...

Anyone know how to do it?

Yep...

Press the green button, and then the '1' or '2' within a few seconds. That stores the seat postion settings in memory '1' or '2' for use.

Yes, you can store two different settings!

Try it. Store a memory, then reposition the seat back, base, etc. with the switches.

Press and hold '1' until it goes back to where it was when you set '1' or press and hold '2' until... well, you get the idea now!

Now the hard part, decide who gets Button Number 1?

He that laid out the cash for the car....she can do her own seat, over on the passenger side as #1 ! ! !

(I'm so compromising sometimes it makes me sick ! )

Its a logical decision.

Male logic: Who drives the car most or paid for it?

Female logic: Who is #1 in your life?

If your married, sometimes is pays, in other dividends , to take #2.

I take number two all the time....who leaves the house and goes to a job while the other is retired?

And besides, I already put the seat down and make the paper roll off the top of the roll, isn't that enough compromise?

HeHe, you are asking the wrong person to define "enough". It depends if the "benefits" outweigh the compromise.
