AC hoses from all OM601/OM602/OM603 compatible with 190D?
I need the hoses coming out of the AC compressor for a 190D, however this seems impossible to find used (Costs close to 800$ from dealer here). I started thinking whether the same bundle of hoses was used on the 200D, or even the 250D or 300D? Does anyone know?
In short; Do all OM601/OM602/OM603 engines have the same AC-hoses? In this picture it is shown as nr 167: Disclaimer; The picture above has been taken from an EPC purchased from Manualsoft.com and has nothing to do with DaimlerChrysler. |

i dont
know but i wouldnt be surprised if the 601,2,3 all are the same. the front of the engine is in the same place on all them, right? the extra space in a 4 is all in the back, right? like a 240?

Ever consider getting what you have rebuilt locally at an A/C or a hydraulic shop?

Bonehead; I checked with a couple of companies, but they said they couldn't help.. Here's a pic of what I have (which is quite far from what I need):
Tom; I'm not sure about that, but I'm guessing their hoses should at least be fairly similar in length? |

Bonehead; Forgot to mention; On diesels they are mounted 90 degrees inwards, which leaves the bundle like this:

OK....rebuiling is cheapest option when its possible...I know you can with the W123 and the W116 lines.

Apparently they found the excisting tubes to have too complicated bends for a rebuild, and seemed far from interested in listening to my suggestions for a solution.. My father came up with an idea though; To use a system called 'tubing' or something, apparently used a lot offshore etc...
