It's a major operation to shove a 8.3L Cummins in a one ton pickup, the firewall has to be shoved back quite a bit, then you need to get a drivetrain rated for 1100ft-lb (stock). This 12L mbz engine is a lot heavier and probably a lot larger than a C-series Cummins. Then there's the fun of gearing it so that it will make decent speed at the engine's low redline.

Yep. I actually spent about 30 minutes with a trucker that was driving one of those trucks. The engine's specs are amazing: 435 - 500 HP (depending on intake and application) and 1,550 ft-lbs of torque at 1,400 rpm!!
